AREN Pharmaceuticals and Medical Nutrition Internal and External Trade Joint Stock Company was established to produce dietary and functional foods for individuals with special nutritional needs. As part of a social responsibility initiative aimed at improving access to food for phenylketonuria (PKU) patients—who are most prevalent in our country compared to the rest of the world—the company launched its R&D and production activities on 01/08/2018.

Our company produces gluten-free and low-protein products such as daily fresh bread, pasta, flour blends, snacks, chocolates, and substitute items (egg, rice, semolina), as well as ketogenic diet products. Currently, these products are offered to the market under the brands “Mayalı Hane,” “Ketoren,” and “Protemin.”

Since 2018, beyond manufacturing and selling products, our company has integrated ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2015, and ISO 10002:2014 quality, food safety, and customer satisfaction management systems throughout its entire operations. We are also the first Halal-certified company in Turkey producing special dietary foods. Additionally, we hold the TS 13143 standard for gluten-free production and other Halal certifications. Our quality policy is to manufacture and offer the special dietary products required by the healthcare sector by prioritizing medical needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Our company continuously expands and develops its product range and conducts ongoing R&D studies for various nutritional needs. We produce and design our healthy, nutritious, and delicious gluten-free and low-protein products using our own formulations and unique production techniques. We also continue to expand our ketogenic diet product line.

Furthermore, all our “Low-Protein” products contain lower protein and phenylalanine values than similar products worldwide. Due to their significantly reduced levels, many of these products can be consumed almost freely.
